Role Summary:

We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to achieve sales revenue targets by effectively managing existing customer accounts and generating new business. Based in our Doncaster office, with the opportunity for home-based work after a year, you’ll be instrumental in cultivating customer relationships and maximising wine sales over the phone. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proactively generate new customer accounts to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records using Salesforce (CRM system).
  • Engage with customers via telephone to promote wine sales and build strong relationships.
  • Proactively use social media to generate leads and nurture customer relationships.
  • Contact your portfolio of clients every 5 weeks to achieve daily, weekly and annual targets 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience of excellent organisational skills. 
  • Strong IT skills and proven experience in telephone sales. 
  • A proactive “sales hunter” mentality with the ability to close deals effectively. 
  • A customer-centric approach, ensuring the highest standards of professional communication and customer service. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and strategies to meet business and customer needs.

We Offer:

  • Competitive basic salary of £27,000 per annum. 
  • Attractive on-target earnings (OTE) of £35,000 – £46,000 (paid annually in month 12).

    • 26,000 active customers. 
    • 10% year-on-year customer base growth. 
    • Increased customer buying frequency (from 1.3 to 2.6 times per year). 
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Thursday 10:00 AM to 6:45 PM, Friday 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
