Role Summary:
In this versatile, customer-facing role, your primary focus will be on improving customer retention by engaging directly with schools to understand and address their needs, preventing cancellations, and winning back lapsed clients. Additionally, you will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to upgrade existing customers to higher-value SaaS products that better meet their evolving requirements. Success in this role hinges on your ability to balance these two key objectives while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Retention: Rapidly engage with customers who have initiated cancellations to understand their concerns, propose tailored solutions, and retain their business.
- Winning Back Lapsed Customers: Proactively reach out to lapsed customers, understanding their reasons for leaving, and working to bring them back into the fold.
- Revenue Growth: Increase revenues by upgrading customers to higher-end, higher-value SaaS products that meet their school’s needs, including transitioning legacy contracts to new solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a pipeline of retention and sales growth opportunities, applying consistent sales processes and methodologies.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our SaaS product portfolio to effectively demonstrate software solutions and convey their value to customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success and Sales teams to ensure seamless service and support for retained and upgraded clients.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine your strategies and provide valuable feedback to the team.
